4-H Clubs & Meeting Times
The Madison County 4-H currently recognizes the following clubs. If you wish to start your own club, all you need is 5 children and to contact Heather Johnson for more information. Each club member needs to fill out a Florida 4-H Participation Form and pay their $1.00 yearly due's for 4-H Insurance.
4-H L.I.F.E. Guardians
Leaders: Tina Langell
Meetings occur twice a month at 10 am at the Madison County Extension Office unless otherwise noted. This club is designed for home-schoolers, but is open to all who can attend the meetings. Call for dates.
Madison County 4-H Livestock Club
Leaders: Tim & Paula Ginn
Open to ages 8-18. Meetings are every second Sunday of each month at 2:30 pm at the Madison County Extension Office - No meetings during summer months.
Hickory Grove 4-H Club
Leaders: Jennifer Williams and Beth Moore
Meetings occur at the Hickory Grove Church in Lee. Call Jennifer Williams at 971-5338 for information on meeting dates.
Saddles & Spurs 4-H Club
Leaders: Kathy Floyd and Sonya Morris
Meetings are 2nd Monday of each month at the Madison County Extension Office. For more information call Kathy Floyd at 948-3183.
Jake's 4-H Shooting & Outdoor Sports Club
Leader: Kathy Register
Open to ages 5-18. Meetings vary every month depending on activity. Please Kathy Register for more information at 971-5869.
Greenhouse/Garden Club
Leader: Lee & Theresa Williams
Open to ages 5-18. Meetings are on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 10am. These meetings are held at the Madison County Extension Office. Please call Lee Williams for more information at 929-2830.
Greenville 4-H Club
Leader: Martin Lee, Jr.
Greenville has two clubs, a Youth Leadership Club and a Cloverbud (ages 5-8) club. The Youth Leadership club will empower the youth to be "our leaders for tomorrow." The Cloverbud club will be directed by the youth leaders. Mr. Lee will be the clubs' leader this year but we are still looking for members and volunteers.
Madison County 4-H Council
The Madison County 4-H Council provides a link between local clubs and Madison County 4-H programs such as county events, national 4-H week activities, community service projects, summer camping programs, and the annual 4-H awards banquet. Each 4-H club should send two delegates to participate in the County Council. All At-Large 4-H members should consider joining. Call Heather Johnson at 973-4138 for information on meeting dates.
